Week 1. Introduction to FIK

In the first week, the focus will be on Git & Docker. The topics covered will include an introductiDuring the first week, we'll cover Git and Docker, including an introduction to version control, basic Git commands, managing repositories, branching and merging, remote repositories, containers, Docker Desktop, managing Docker images, and running containers.on to version control, basic Git commands, creating and managing repositories, branching and merging, and working with remote repositories. In addition to Git, the first week will also cover Docker. The topics covered will include an introduction to containers, Docker Desktop, creating and managing Docker images, and running containers.

Week 2. Docker and Docker Compose

The second week will focus on Docker, including an introduction to its usefulness, Docker concepts, creating and managing Docker images and containers, publishing images to registries, and working with Docker Compose and Swarm for scaling and automation.

Week 3. Kubernetes

The During the third week, students will learn about Kubernetes concepts, Kubectl commands, YAML, deploy a Kubernetes cluster, explore PODs, ReplicaSets, Deployments, networking and services, microservices architecture, and deploying applications on Kubernetes, resulting in a comprehensive understanding of Kubernetes for software development, deployment, and scaling

Week 4. Kafka

In the Fourth week, students will learn about Kafka as a distributed system, messaging patterns, commit logs, components, Kafka Producer and Consumer modules, Kafka internals, replication, Kafka controller, request processing, partition allocation, data storage, reliability, and a comparison with other services, with a concluding module quiz to assess comprehension, resulting in a comprehensive understanding of Kafka, including producing and consuming messages.

Week 5. AWS

During Week 5, students will receive an overview of AWS fundamentals and learn about key services, such as AWS EC2 for cloud computing, AWS VPC, AWS IAM for identity and access management, AWS CloudFront, auto scaling, Amazon MQ for messaging modernization, containers, serverless application development and deployment, AWS Lambda foundations, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon DynamoDB, and monitoring and analytics. The module also includes a quiz to test understanding of the covered topics.

Week 6. Boltic Sandbox Environment

The final week of the curriculum is dedicated to a hands-on final assessment project, where students will research and create two integrations using cloud templates in the Boltic admin panel. This project is designed to evaluate the student's ability to apply the concepts and skills learned throughout the course to real-world scenarios, while also encouraging creative problem-solving to meet specific integration requirements.
